Anyone calling the Practice with new symptoms of fever, cough, colds, respiratory symptoms, sore throat or shortness of breath may be offered a telephone appointment with a clinician. We are not booking face to face appointments for these symptoms - this is with the aim of protecting any vulnerable patients attending the Practice for other reasons. If you have an existing appointment booked and begin to experience any of the above symptoms, you MUST inform our Receptionists who will then arrange an appropriate alternative for you. Please note, we are also unable to arrange any COVID-19 testing. This must be done via NHS 111. If you have already spoken to 111 and do not qualify for a test, and are not so unwell that you require hospital admission, then our advice is to self-isolate.

Coronavirus  COVID 19 – Safer Travel Guidance for Passengers

We have had a number of contacts from patients requesting face covering exemption letters.

There is no requirement for a letter or certificate in relation to face coverings. We do not provide these.

If you are an employer, please do not ask your employees to seek letters from us.

Please see the gov.uk website for more information  https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-safer-travel-guidance-for-passengers

Many thanks

Dr's Griffin, Lakeland, Gee, Miller, Kaleem and Emerald.

Our front door will remain closed for now, however we will be inviting patients who are elderly and those with young babies to wait inside the surgery where appropriate for their appointment.

When visiting the surgery you must wear a mask, if you do not have one, one will be provided for you.

You will have your temperature checked by a member of staff before you are invited inside.

Where possible please attend alone. Frail or elderly patients may be accompanied by a carer if needed.

Patients will be able to socially distance in the waiting room and we advise that you also be aware of distancing outside the surgery. At busy times there can be a number of people waiting at the door, but the guidelines regarding distancing still apply. This is for your safety and the safety of others.

As always thank you for your understanding.
