COVID-19 patient information
Anyone calling the Practice with new symptoms of fever, cough, colds, respiratory symptoms, sore throat or shortness of breath may be offered a telephone appointment with a clinician. We are not booking face to face appointments for these symptoms - this is with the aim of protecting any vulnerable patients attending the Practice for other reasons. If you have an existing appointment booked and begin to experience any of the above symptoms, you MUST inform our Receptionists who will then arrange an appropriate alternative for you. Please note, we are also unable to arrange any COVID-19 testing. This must be done via NHS 111. If you have already spoken to 111 and do not qualify for a test, and are not so unwell that you require hospital admission, then our advice is to self-isolate.

Berry Lane Medical Centre is based in Longridge near Preston and has been serving the local community since the 19th Century.
The Medical Centre is contained in modern, purpose built premises in Berry Lane, Longridge, and provides medical care for approximately 10,000 patients from the surrounding areas of Longridge, Inglewhite, Chipping, Whittingham, Goosnargh, Grimsargh, Hurst Green, and Ribchester.
With patients' needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.

The Practice has made every effort to ensure easy access to the building, and toilet facilities are available for the disabled. Part of the reception desk has been lowered to facilitate wheelchair access.
There is also a loop system for the hard of hearing. Please inform our receptionists if you wish to use this.
