Doctor’s Sick Note for more than 7 days

Doctor’s Sick Note for more than 7 days

If you have been ill for more than 7 days, you will require a doctor’s certificate, known as a ‘Med3/Sick Note’ (Fit Note) certificate.

To request a sick note, you must have self-certified for the first 7 days of your illness. After this period, you will need to have been seen or spoken to by a clinician before a certificate can be issued.
