You do not need an appointment with a GP to be referred for an ADHD/ASD assessment.

This is an overview of the available options for children and adults seeking an ADHD or ASD assessment. It outlines the responsibilities of patients, parents/guardians, and GPs, and explains the referral process—whether through the local NHS pathway or via the Right to Choose (RTC) option.
