Reception

Our receptionists perform all reception duties including answering the telephones, making appointments, taking requests for prescriptions and dealing with all general enquiries and queries. They also update medical records, chase up results and hospital letters and provide invaluable support to the doctors and nursing team. They are here to assist you as best they can, working within the practice guidelines and policies.

Attached Staff

The Medical Centre is supported by a variety of community staff that compliments the Primary Health Care Team. Some community based team are based at Longridge Community Hospital and can be contacted on 01772 777400. These include Physiotherapists, and Phlebotomists . The District Nurse, and Community Matron are all based at Longridge Hospital. However Health Visitors are now based at Ribbleton Health Centre and can be contacted on 01772 777461.In addition, the doctors have access to beds at Longridge Community Hospital where patients needing hospital inpatient medical care can be cared for in the local community hospital.
